Jessica is an extremely experienced singing teacher having taught for over 20 years in institutions such as Australian Institute of Music, SCEGGS Darlinghurst and Geelong Grammar School as well as from her home studio. With an accomplished and extensive career as a performer and composer herself, Jessica is interested in teaching professional and aspiring professional artists reach their goals both vocally and in their artistic careers.
Jessica’s students have gone on to achieve amazing things including outstanding professional careers (such as Vera Blue, Xira and Charmaine Bingwa), Encore nominations and outstanding HSC and AMEB exam results, selections into chosen tertiary courses and roles in professional musical theatre productions.
Trained as an opera singer but with an extensive career that also traverses early music, new music, jazz, pop and cabaret/musical theatre, Jessica’s teaching methods and philosophies can cater for all needs. She focuses on building command over one’s instrument and craft in a way that frees the singer to be the artist they want to be without being restricted by lack of technical ability in any area.
Lesson fees are $150 per hour. A minimum of 3 initial lessons is required for all new students, otherwise lessons may be booked as a series, weekly or a one off depending on your needs and goals.
